Two-Year-Old Provision

The Toddler Class provides high quality early years education for children aged two in a bright, child-friendly and creative environment. We work in partnership with parents to ensure that your children have a great start that will prepare them for full-time education and a fulfilling life. The classroom has capacity for 20 children. We offer the free 15-hours of provision to eligible children, whilst other non-eligible children can attend part-time for a weekly fee of £75. Paid full-time places may be available after eligible part-time places have been offered.

Eligibility for the funded 15 hours

Hackney residents may check their eligibility online at:

https://ems.learningtrust.co.uk/CitizenPortal_LIVE/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=/CitizenPortal_LIVE/

Please not that, if you are on any of these benefits, your child should be able to get a government-funded place:

•Income support;

•Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA);

•Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA);

•Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and have an annual income not over £16,190;

You can also get a place if:

•they have a current statement of special education needs (SEN) or an education health and care plan;

•they get Disability Living Allowance; or

•they’ve left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or residence order.

If you get Working Tax Credit you must tell the Tax Credit helpline as soon as you start getting the 15 hours of free childcare as this may affect the amount that you get (you will always be better off by claiming the 15 hours free childcare). Phone them on 0345 300 3900 Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm or Saturday 8am – 4pm.
