We have revised the School Menu for this academic year as below, to ensure that our children continue to have access to a rich, varied and healthy menu.
We have retained the School Councillors' choice as Week 1 Menu. Please encourage your children to take full advantage of the broad menu. Vegetarian options are available as indicated.
Chef and his team continue to work to the highest hygiene standards, retaining our 5* rating year after year.
The weeks when each of the menu will be in force have been listed at the top for ease of reference.
If you have any questions, please speak to Chef Melfred or the Business Manager.
The national School Food Standards are in place to ensure that food provided to pupils is nutritious and of high quality; to promote good nutritional health in all pupils; protect those who are nutritionally vulnerable and promote good eating behaviour. Providing good quality school food improves children’s health, behaviour and performance.
The Food Standards Agency recently issued guidelines on Allergens (common foods which cause allergic reactions) and guidance can be found on http://allergytraining.food.gov.uk/english/food-allergy-facts.aspx
Please speak to Chef Melfred if you think your child could be affected or if you simply want reassurance. As a school, we will continue to ensure the all-round safety of all our children, staff and other partners.
