St Monica's Catholic Primary School is committed to providing an inclusive high-quality education which inspires and challenges all pupils. We believe that all children, including those identifies as having a special educational need or a disability (SEND), have a common entitlement to a broad, balanced and accessible curriculum and to be fully integrated into all aspects of school life. As a result of the school's inclusive ethos, all pupils, regardless of their particular needs, are offered learning opportunities which enable them to make the best possible progress in school and feel that they are a valued member of the wider community.
We believe that all children should be equally valued in school. We will strive to eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and to develop an environment where all children can flourish and feel safe.
We adhere to the SEND Code of Practice, as well as the Diocese of Westminster and Hackney guidance on provision for children with SEND in mainstream schools. Our commitment to inclusive practices is evident in throughout our school policies and procedures, such as those available to download below.
