St Monica's Catholic Primary School

A small school where big things happen

What A Good One Looks Like

Here, at St. Monica's, we are always striving for excellence. As part of our embedded principles of Behaviour for Learning, we empower our children by encouraging independent thinking and enquiry.
By nurturing and increasing perseverance, resilience, creativity and research skills for every individual, St. Monica's pupils are encouraged to use the following strategies:
1) Brain
2) Book
3) Buddy and finally only if needed - asking a teacher.

To celebrate our success, we use the term "W.A.G.O.L.L."

W.A.G.O.L.L. stands for What A Good One Looks Like. On this page we will share our very best examples of work! Please take a look.
