Free School Meals (FSM)

From September 2023, the Government has agreed that all children in Reception class to Year 6 will receive Free School Meals for the 2023/24 academic year.  St Monica's has extended this offer to include Nursery pupils.
 
However, if you or your partner are unemployed, work part time or on a low income, you could be entitled to Free School Meals (FSM).  Apply by completing an online application form.

If you are eligible, you will be entitled to the following benefits:-

    • Continued free school meals
    • E-voucher per child, during school holidays to help with food shopping
    • Free or discounted spaces at some holiday play schemes
    • £100 uniform grant before your child transitions to Secondary School

After you have completed your application you will receive an email to confirm your eligibility.  Please forward the email to office@st-monicas.hackney.sch.uk.  Hackney Education will also send a notification to us confirming your child’s Free School Meals (FSM) and Pupil Premium eligibility.
