Two-Year-Old Provision - Preschool

Our Toddler provision provides high quality early years education for children aged two in a bright, creative and nurturing environment.  We work in partnership with parents to ensure that your child has a great start that will prepare them for full-time education and a fulfilling life.  We welcome children from all faiths.

The classroom has capacity for 20 children.  We offer 15-hours of free provision to eligible children, whilst other non-eligible children can attend part-time for a weekly fee of £75. Paid full-time places may be available after eligible part-time places have been offered.

Please note that, if you are on any of the following benefits, your child should be able to get a government-funded place:
  • Universal Credit;
  • Income support;
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA);
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA);
  • Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and have an annual income not over £16,190;
  • Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit;
  • Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999;

You can also get a place if:
  • the child is looked after by a local council;
  • they have a current statement of Special Education Needs (SEN) or an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP);
  • they get Disability Living Allowance; or
  • they’ve left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or residence order.

If you get Working Tax Credit you must tell the Tax Credit helpline as soon as you start getting the 15 hours of free childcare as this may affect the amount that you get (you will always be better off by claiming the 15 hours free childcare). Phone them on 0345 300 3900 Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm or Saturday 8am – 4pm.
