Home, School and Parish

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Acts 16:31

Our Parish

At St Monica’s Catholic Primary School, we are blessed to have a close and active relationship with our parish, St Monica’s Church in Hoxton Square. Our Parish Priest, Fr Gabriel, plays an important role in the spiritual life of our school and is a familiar and valued member of our community.

Fr Gabriel visits our classes weekly for chaplaincy visits, giving pupils opportunities to pray together, reflect on their faith, ask questions and develop their relationship with Christ. Our children also attend church fortnightly, strengthening the connection between our school and parish communities and enabling them to participate regularly in the life of the Church.

This strong partnership between home, school and parish helps us to nurture children in their faith and provides opportunities for them to experience Catholic life as a community. We encourage our pupils to take what they learn and experience in school and church into their homes, sharing their faith, prayers and Gospel values with their families.
