Celebrating Our 2025 KS2 Results

We are delighted to share our pupils' outstanding results in the 2024–25 Key Stage 2 SATs. Our Year 6 children worked incredibly hard throughout the year, and their average scaled scores reflect their dedication, resilience and enthusiasm for learning:

SubjectAverage Scaled Score
Reading 106
Mathematics 108
Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling 114

A scaled score of 100 represents the expected standard, so these results show our pupils performing well above that benchmark across all three areas, with a particularly impressive result in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.

We would like to thank our wonderful Year 6 pupils for their hard work, our dedicated staff for their commitment and expertise, and our families for their continued support. We are so proud of every one of our children and wish them every success as they begin the next chapter of their education.

We continue in our unrelenting vision for outstanding outcomes for all our pupils. As acknowledged by the Director of Education in her recent letter, our 2024 Key Stage results once again exceed national averages, demonstrating the strength and consistency of our provision across the school.

Thank you to our pupils for their exceptional hard work, to our parents for their trust and ongoing support, and to all staff for their dedication, expertise and unwavering commitment to every child.

This academic year has also been a significant one for St Monica’s. Alongside our strong academic outcomes, our continued focus on high-quality teaching, a rich curriculum and the wellbeing of our pupils remains central to all that we do.

Our most recent inspections continue to validate this commitment:

  • Ofsted Inspection: GOOD

  • RE Inspection:

    • Classroom Religious Education: GOOD

    • Catholic Life of the School: OUTSTANDING

We are naturally delighted that the hard work and dedication of our pupils, staff and parents are recognised within these reports and that they reflect the ongoing progress made since our previous inspections.

In her covering letter to the inspection report, the Chief Inspector of Schools in the Diocese of Westminster stated that “it is the quality of leadership, the vision and inspiration of the head and her leadership team, together with governors, that enables a school to ensure pupils receive the best quality of Catholic education.”

We remain fully committed to ensuring all pupils continue to thrive academically, spiritually and personally. Our 2024/25 SATs results further demonstrate the high quality of education offered at St Monica’s, and we are determined to continue moving forward until all areas of the school are the best they can be.
